Home » This Year's Competition Now Closed The second annual Realize Music Challenge is now closed to new submissions. We take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the many composers who submitted their work: you helped make this international competition a great success. And we wish the best to all participants as our panel of judges now take the time to carefully assess this year's submissions. During the summer months, the following renown composers will be evaluating scores based on artistic merit for us to determine the Grand Prize winner and twelve other winners. Panel of Judges John Corigliano Carter Burwell Lawrence Dillon As one of the most widely recognized American composers today, John Corigliano has won several awards, including Grammy, Academy, and Pulitzer. As a high-demand Hollywood composer, Carter Burwell has over 65 film titles to his credit, as varied as Fargo, Conspiracy Theory, and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. This internationally acclaimed composer, the youngest to complete a doctorate at Juilliard, has a broad portfolio of works, from solo pieces to full-length opera.
