NOTION SLE for VSL Special Edition
and Special Edition Plus


NOTION SLE features presets created for Vienna Instruments, Vienna Ensemble and Vienna Ensemble PRO and include all standard articulations, which are all mapped and balanced for the best playback directly from your score.

As you write and articulate your score, NOTION SLE will follow your instructions and automatically change the VSL patch in playback to accurately and realistically perform your score. Dynamics, hairpins, articulations, glissandos and even portamentos will faithfully be reproduced in playback. And of course, you can take full advantage of our live performance features and conduct the full orchestra with unmatched level of control in the industry.


NOTION SLE is based on NOTION3's notation and audio engine. NOTION SLE does not have any additional features that are not in NOTION3. This product is designed for non-NOTION users who want to combine their favorite library with the power of NOTION3.

NOTION SLE for VSL SE comes bundled with a time limited demo version of Vienna Suite. Vienna Suite is a powerful collection of high-quality effects plug-ins available from VSL.

Each SLE product features a collection of instrument presets for that specific and supported VSTi library that are directly available to you from score setup.

Built-In Presets


NOTION SLE presets contain all the mapping and patch assignments for the instrument, so you can write music without ever needing to laboriously create and tweak templates.

Sequencer Modes


SequencerStaff and Sequencer Overlay View mode blends notation and sequencing to give you greater control over your score. Edit MIDI data while maintaining accurate notation.
